2026 San Diego Art Prize RecipientsDanielle Dean, Ingrid Hernández, Tatiana Ortiz-Rubio
With a recent solo show at the Tate Gallery, London, Danielle Dean is one of our most prestigious San Diego Art Prize recipients. She analyzes how ideas are constantly recycled and then repeated to the detriment of our society. Ingrid Hernández takes recycled objects to look more closely at those communities who are often displaced. Tatiana Ortiz-Rubio’s art installations ride in the mysterious space between certainty and the unknown. All three artists examine how larger forces (political, social, economic, or existential) shape individual lives. |
